About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer/Analyst to join our team at Public Health Wales. As a key member of our Quality, Safety and Improvement directorate, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing software solutions to support our quality improvement initiatives.

Main Responsibilities

As a Software Developer/Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications using Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate. You will work closely with our analytics team to develop and implement data collection, analysis, and visualization tools to support our quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Significant experience designing and developing software applications using Microsoft Power Platform tools
  • Proven experience of system analysis and design in a work environment
  • Experience of implementing a Groupware solution (SharePoint)
  • Development experience in Microsoft software (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, etc.)

Desirable Qualifications

  • Qualification in an agile development methodology
  • Experience of supervising staff
  • Experience of using NHS IT systems
  • Relevant experience working within the NHS
