About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Platform Expert to join our team at Public Health Wales. As a key member of our Quality, Safety and Improvement directorate, you will play a crucial role in driving improvements in the quality and safety of care across Wales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and test software applications using Microsoft Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate.
  • Work closely with our analytics team to develop and implement data collection, analysis, and usability solutions.
  • Lead project teams to scope, develop, and launch tools to support our directorate and teams across Wales.
  • Advise and support other team members in gaining skills within the Power Platform.
Requirements
  • Significant experience designing and developing software applications.
  • Proven experience of system analysis and design in a work environment.
  • Experience of implementing a Groupware solution (SharePoint).
  • Development experience in Microsoft software (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, etc).
Desirable Qualifications
  • Qualification in an agile development methodology.
  • Experience of supervising staff.
  • Experience of using NHS IT systems.
  • Relevant experience working within the NHS.
  • Experience of working in an Agile Development environment (Scrum).
