About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at Pearson Assessment Services. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the integrity and assurance of data through multiple pipelines, and working towards better methods of exploiting this data in terms of analytics and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with large data focused projects, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
  • Develop and implement data transformation strategies to improve data quality and usability
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and developers to design and implement data reporting platforms
  • Attend senior stakeholder meetings to present project progress, design ideas, and decisions
Requirements
  • Proven experience working with complex data projects, preferably in cloud environments
  • Excellent communication and analysis skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of data pipelines, data warehousing concepts, and data validation
  • Experience with AWS Aurora, DMS, Glue, Lambda, Quicksight, S3, and other relevant technologies
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
