About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Management & Analytics Analyst to join our team at Pearson Assessment Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and assurance of data through multiple pipelines, as well as working towards better methods of exploiting this data in terms of analytics and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with large data focused projects, involving data pipelines, transformation strategies, and helping to establish a more advanced data reporting platform.
  • Collaborate with business SME's, product owners, architects, and developers to ensure excellent communication and analysis skills.
  • Attend senior stakeholder meetings to explain project progress, design ideas, and decisions.
  • Contribute to design decisions and deliver projects with a proven track record in advanced data validation experience.
Requirements
  • Experience working with complex data projects, preferably in cloud environments.
  • Strong technical knowledge of AWS Aurora, DMS, Glue, Lambda, Quicksight, S3, and other relevant tools.
  • Excellent communication and planning skills, with the ability to put things into non-technical terms for a wider audience.
  • Proven track record in delivering projects and advanced data validation experience.
