Care Assistant Role at White House Care Home

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at White House Care Home.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and support to our residents. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive the highest standard of care and comfort.

You will be responsible for assisting residents with their daily routines, promoting independence, and providing personalized care and attention. You will also work closely with our care team to ensure that each resident receives tailored support and care that meets their individual needs.

Our ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in caring for the elderly and a strong commitment to delivering excellent service. You will be required to maintain confidentiality and adhere to our home's policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with their daily routines, including getting dressed, staying active, and maintaining their personal hygiene.
  • Provide personalized care and attention to each resident, following their individual care plans.
  • Work closely with the care team to ensure that each resident receives the highest standard of care and support.
  • Keep accurate records of resident care and report any concerns or issues to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager.
Requirements:
  • SVQ/NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) preferred.
  • At least 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant (or transferable skills).
  • A genuine interest in caring for the elderly and a strong commitment to delivering excellent service.
