About the Role

We are seeking an Environmental Specialist to join our Planning and Environmental Consenting team in Bristol or Birmingham. As an Environmental Specialist, you will work collaboratively with a range of technical specialists on a broad range of projects, assisting with the coordination of environmental assessments and other environmental deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to delivering high standards of environmental performance within multidisciplinary engineering projects, influencing project development and delivering optimal environmental outcomes.
  • Collate and edit information from a range of sources to provide clear, well-written reports.
  • Support senior management with bid preparation and project management to ensure projects are delivered on-time, on-budget, and to quality and client expectations.
  • Undertake Continual Professional Development in accordance with requirements of chosen professional institute.

Requirements

  • Degree or Masters in an environmental or science subject.
  • Working toward chartership with a relevant professional body.
  • Knowledge of environmental management, assessment, and environmental technical specialisms.
  • Experience of working effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong report writing, verbal, and presentation skills.
