Environmental Sustainability Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team at Stantec. As a key member of our Environmental Planning team, you will play a crucial role in helping us deliver innovative projects in renewable energy, decarbonisation, and water quality improvement.

About the Role

As an Environmental Sustainability Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading environmental impact assessments (EIAs) for various project types, including real estate, energy, water, and infrastructure.
  • Developing and implementing sustainable solutions to environmental, socio-economic, and sustainability issues.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects that meet our clients' objectives in a safe, environmentally, and socially sustainable manner.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients, stakeholders, and community groups to ensure effective communication and engagement.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure our projects are delivered to the highest standards.
