Inventory Manager

A highly sought-after Stock Controller / Buyer is needed to join TEXO Recruitment's client team in Aberdeen. As a key member, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of stock control, the online Ebuy platform, and client contracts with a positive and proactive approach.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in stock control (1+ year) and procurement (2+ years). Additionally, they should possess MRO product knowledge and be proficient in using IT systems, including Excel, Crystal Reports, Dynamics GP, and management databases.
Key Tasks:
- Seek new suppliers to enhance the supply chain.
- Negotiate costs and payment terms with suppliers.
- Maintain adequate stock levels and clear any back orders promptly.
- Adjust min/max levels as necessary.
- Participate in regular stock checks to ensure accuracy of stock item lists and value.
- Record and rectify any irregularities regarding deliveries with suppliers immediately.
- Resolve stock-related queries raised by internal staff or external customers promptly and professionally.
Expected Salary Range: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. The location being Aberdeen, we anticipate a salary at the higher end of this range due to the cost of living.
