As a Senior Supervising Producer, you will work closely with our Executive Producer and a team of video journalists to produce daily news and long-form feature videos. You will be responsible for proposing original ideas, working with video journalists to hone story angles, and delivering high production value results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Executive Producer and video journalists to produce daily news and long-form feature videos
  • Propose distinctive, original ideas on a daily basis
  • Work closely with video journalists to hone story angles and deliver high production value results
  • Provide clear, constructive feedback on scripts and videos
  • Monitor live feeds and produce breaking news events
  • Collaborate with newsroom editors and global video team leaders
  • Coach reporters and news editors to appear on camera or in voiceover
  • Mentor staff and provide opportunities for development and growth
  • Ensure adherence to journalistic, ethical, and legal standards

Requirements:

  • At least eight years of experience producing content in a daily video news environment
  • Successful track record leading and managing video teams in a global news organization
  • Exceptional communication and strategic thinking skills
  • World-class editorial and ethical judgment
  • Unrestricted ability to work in the UK
