Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Strategist to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our Divisional Leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Procurement Strategies: Work closely with the Divisional Leadership team to develop and implement procurement strategies that align with our business objectives.
  • Ensure Procurement Value Contribution: Ensure that procurement value contribution is maximized and supports Division initiatives.
  • Run Division Input to Category Strategies: Run division input to category strategies, ensuring that they are aligned with our business objectives.
  • Engage with Supplier Leadership: Engage with supplier leadership to support the CM team and Division in achieving Thermo Fisher objectives related to quality, cost, innovation, growth, and compliance.
  • Implement Common Processes: Support the implementation of common processes, standardize work, and use of tools and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Strong Procurement Background: A strong background in procurement, with experience in developing and implementing procurement strategies.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and align with our business objectives.
