About the Role:
As a key member of the Thermo Fisher Scientific team, the Procurement Manager will play a critical role in aligning the Procurement strategy with the Divisional Leadership team's objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with the Divisional Leadership team to develop and implement a Procurement strategy that supports the company's overall business objectives.
- Procurement Value Contribution: Ensure that Procurement activities contribute significantly to the company's business performance and support Division initiatives.
- Category Strategies: Develop and implement category strategies that drive cost savings, quality improvements, and innovation across the organization.
- Supplier Engagement: Engage with supplier leadership to support the company's objectives related to quality, cost, innovation, growth, and compliance.
- Process Standardization: Support the implementation of common processes, standardize work, and leverage tools and technologies to improve Procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Strong Procurement expertise: Proven experience in Procurement, with a strong understanding of Procurement principles, practices, and technologies.
- Strategic thinking: Ability to develop and implement Procurement strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.
- Collaboration and communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical and problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
