Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Support Officer to join our Business Transformation team at NIHR.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the One NIHR business change programme, ensuring seamless execution and delivery of project activities.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrative professional with strong IT skills to make a real impact within our organisation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated support for the One NIHR Theme 2 Business Process Standardisation Workstream and Standard Application Workstream
  • Coordinate virtual meetings on platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams
  • Prepare meeting materials including agendas and presentations
  • Minute writing for various team meetings involving internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage online documents, spreadsheets, and templates
  • Organise and maintain online folders and filing structures
  • Handle mail inquiries, responding promptly or escalating to relevant colleagues as needed
  • Pursue initiatives to enhance processes and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required by the Business Transformation Team

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 12 months experience in an administrative or project support role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
  • Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana, or Jira
  • Basic understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
