About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Longridge Hall Care Home. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional person-centered care to our residents, ensuring a warm, happy, and homely environment is maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support our residents with personal care and hygiene, eating, and daily activities
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to our residents
  • Support our residents to live an enriched and fulfilled life, focused on their individual hobbies, preferences, and abilities
  • Maintain high standards within the care home environment
  • Undertake any necessary training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Support the Home Manager with senior-level duties, including staff supervision, appraisals, record-keeping, and liaison with outside professionals
What We Offer
  • A competitive hourly rate of £13.68, plus a £3 enhancement for overtime
  • A 38.5-hour working week, with 34 shifts per week on a rolling rota
  • 20:00-08:00 shifts, with opportunities for flexible pay and management tips

Requirements
  • Supervisory/leadership experience in a residential or nursing home setting
  • A positive outlook and warm personality
  • A Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards
  • Confident in record-keeping and the use of various technologies
  • Able to remain calm and guide colleagues under pressure
  • Flexibility to work shift patterns according to the needs of our residents
