About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a one-form-entry Primary School in Headington. The successful candidate will be required to work across our Early Years and KS1 classes, supporting the students under the direction of the class teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in the class, maintaining a tidy and organised classroom environment
  • Work effectively with other members of staff in the classroom and throughout the school
  • Support students on a whole class, small group, and one-to-one basis, encouraging their progression
  • Comply with the school's policies and implement them effectively

Requirements:

  • Recent experience working in a Primary School as a Teaching Assistant
  • A relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification is essential
  • SEND experience is desirable
