Postgraduate Programme Administrator

We are pleased to be supporting a prestigious London University in their search to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Postgraduate Programme Administrator. This is a full-time, temporary role for 6 months, with a 5-day on-site commitment based in East London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Programme Managers in the day-to-day running of the department's programmes, including timetable coordination and production of handbooks.
  • Respond to student queries in a prompt and informative manner.
  • Support the Programmes Manager in allocating student seminar groups.
  • Organise and minute Department meetings.
  • Assist with and prepare course materials.
  • Provide accurate course and assessment administration support.
  • Coordinate and record coursework submissions and examination marks.
  • Utilise databases and Excel to create and maintain accurate student records.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar post, ideally from a higher education setting.
  • Experience within Higher Education programme administration.
  • Experience within a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent IT skills, including MS Office suite of products and the ability to use bespoke systems.
  • Ability to independently problem solve, seeking advice where appropriate.
