Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner - People Development Specialist to join our team. This role will be based in our West London office and will play a key part in enabling the delivery of a proactive, effective, and efficient People service ensuring that strategies are in place to balance the needs of individual academies whilst supporting the delivery of our strategic objectives.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you will also receive a range of benefits, including:

  • 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, rising with each year of service up to 30 days after 3-years' service. This entitlement is pro rata for part-time employees.

Key Responsibilities

This role will involve working closely and effectively with the People Business Partners building the necessary skills and abilities to be successful in this role. Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Supporting your region(s) on all key People processes, providing guidance, coaching and constructive challenge when appropriate
  2. Working effectively and collaboratively with the HR resources in schools, the wider People team, and other Central teams to effectively maximise performance and exercise good people management practices
  3. Leading on local trade union consultations and negotiations
  4. Owning, analysing, and reporting People data in ways that underpins best practice and effective people management and planning (including management intelligence and on which strategic decisions can be made)
  5. Leading project work in support of our plans and priorities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have demonstrable experience in HR including stakeholder management, demonstrable project management skills, up-to-date knowledge and understanding of HR best practice and practical application of employment law, and the ability to demonstrate working collaboratively and delivering successfully on change management initiatives and projects.
