Edinburgh, Edinburgh, United Kingdom Wood PLC Full time
About the Role
Wood PLC is currently seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join their team for an upcoming project on Shell Leman Alpha. This role will involve providing technical support and maintenance services to ensure the smooth operation of the project.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in instrument technology and a strong understanding of high-pressure systems. A valid BOSIET certification is essential, with MIST, Medical, COMPEX, and TSBT02 also highly desirable. While not mandatory, experience working on a Shell asset would be a significant advantage.

You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing improvements to existing systems.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need excellent communication and problem-solving abilities to effectively collaborate with colleagues and resolve complex technical issues. If you have a passion for working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and are eager to take on new challenges, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including comprehensive training programs, opportunities for career advancement, and a supportive work environment.
