Job Summary:
Instrumentation Maintenance Specialist is required to join our team at SAGE Gas Terminal in St Fergus. This role will ensure all instrumentation equipment is operational, maintained safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of instrument maintenance and troubleshooting skills. They will be responsible for carrying out preventative, planned and remedial maintenance as described in the maintenance management system work instructions.

The successful applicant will be subject to gaining and maintaining National Security Vetting to BPSS/ SC level.

Responsibilities:
  • Carry out maintenance tasks on instrument and control systems in a competent manner, complying with Safety Management System and legislative requirements.
  • Plan and prepare paperwork including risk assessments and permits to complete the maintenance tasks.
  • Responsible for checks on safety and production critical equipment, reporting any deviation of set parameters and raise work orders in the maintenance management system.

Requirements:
A minimum Level 3 VQ (modern apprenticeship) - Maintaining Plant - Instruments & Control or equivalent City and Guilds apprenticeship is required. ATEX Inspections COMPEX level 01-04 and Maintaining Small Bore Tubing SBT01 & SBT02 are also essential skills. Relevant Oil & Gas experience is highly desirable. Estimated salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.
