Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Projects Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading technical projects across Edinburgh and Annan sites, ensuring designs and installations meet site engineering standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as technical lead for instrument and electrical installations on capital projects.
  • Manage contract E+I discipline engineers and ensure they comply with business standards.
  • Liaise with Maintenance & Compliance teams to ensure E+I proposals align with site requirements.
  • Responsible for budget control and reporting for all projects under direction.
  • Ensure new equipment installed has appropriate PM tasks identified and critical spares ordered.
  • Provide technical input into current site standards and effectively plan resource for all E+I activity.
  • Support training of operational teams for new installations and provide hands-on support during project handover.

Requirements:

  • Degree in electrical or instrumentation engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in similar role.
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and computer skills.
  • Ability to work extended hours/weekends and travel between Edinburgh and Annan sites.
