A leading food manufacturing company in Shropshire is seeking a skilled Maintenance Shift Manager to oversee their production facility in Market Drayton.

This company is experiencing significant growth and development, aiming to become one of the top food manufacturers in the UK.

As a Maintenance Shift Manager, you will lead a team of 4 engineers who provide engineering support to the production area, responsible for reactive and proactive maintenance of plant, equipment, and auxiliary systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring completion of planned maintenance documents and CMMS
  • Documenting all work completed by the engineering team in a daily shift report
  • Monitoring and approving time sheets for the team, as well as performing general HR duties

Requirements for the role include:

  • Qualified maintenance engineer with C&G's or NVQ Level 3, or ideally ONC/HNC level
  • Multi-skilled, with mechanical and electrical skills/experience
  • Apprenticeship-trained
  • Proactive attitude to solving issues and supporting production
