Job Title: Child Psychology Support Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Child Psychology Support Specialist to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a specialist in child psychology, you will be responsible for providing support to children with SEMH needs in a mainstream Primary School environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support small groups of pupils across the school who require additional SEMH support
  • Liaise with outside agencies to provide comprehensive support to children
  • Deliver 1:1 sessions in the classroom and intervention classrooms
  • Build excellent relationships with children and families

Requirements:

  • Graduate level qualification in Child Psychology or a related field
  • Experience of supporting children or vulnerable adults with their mental health
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
