Job Title: Motor Testing and Calibration Engineer
The successful candidate will work closely with engineering design and vehicle test teams to ensure the products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.
Main Responsibilities:
- Analysis of test data to identify performance trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Use of advanced diagnostic tools and software to monitor and troubleshoot issues.
- Documentation of test procedures, results, and calibration data in detailed technical reports.
- Development and implementation of calibration strategies to optimize motor performance and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical/mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in electric motor testing and calibration.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
- Broad understanding of electromagnetics & motor control and an understanding of drive system efficiency and performance.
- Experience with dynamometer testing and other motor test equipment.
Salary Range:
An estimated salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
