As a Consultant in Endocrinology and General Internal Medicine, you will play a crucial role in joining our team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading general and specialist diabetes and endocrine clinics tailored according to your interests and expertise.
  • Collaborating with our multidisciplinary diabetes and endocrine teams to develop pathways and provide multidisciplinary care.
  • Working with colleagues across specialties to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Participating in rotational shared care of an 18-bed diabetes/general medical ward.
  • Providing specialty consults and supervision of Specialty Registrars.
  • Contributing to audit, clinical governance, and service development to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Supporting participation in research and clinical trials to advance medical knowledge and improve patient outcomes.
  • Participating in departmental meetings, case presentations, and teaching sessions for medical students and doctors in training.
