Job Summary
The Workday Functional Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our Workday platform, reports, and configurations to support our HRIS initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of Workday processes and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure Workday modules, including Core HCM, Recruitment, Talent, Performance, Absence, Time Tracking, and Finance to meet the business requirements.
- Develop and maintain Workday business processes and security configurations.
- Identify opportunities for automation and the reduction of manual processes.
- Design and develop complex Workday reports using Workday Report Writer, and Matrix reports.
- Create and maintain calculated fields, condition rules, scheduled and custom reports.
- Optimize and enhance existing reports for performance and usability.
- Collaborate with business users to understand reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights through Workday reporting tools.
- Audit report output and maintain data integrity.
- Provide technical support for Workday integrations, EIB's, Web Services, configurations, reports, and other integration tools.
- Lead testing activities, deployment, Workday enhancements, and migration of new configuration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues timely to ensure smooth operation of Workday systems.
- Perform regular system audits, data validations, and confirm data integrity.
- Ensure all integrations are scalable and adhere to best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Workday Functional Analyst or similar role.
- Solid understanding of HR business processes, systems, and best practices.
- Proficiency in Workday Report Writer, Advanced reports, and custom report development.
- Strong technical skills in EIBs, web services, and other integration tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
- Adaptable and open to learning new technologies and processes.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Benefits
- Salary Range: $140,000 - $160,000 Base + Bonus.
- This position is eligible for company benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D, short and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program that includes company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits.
