National Account Manager – Retail Consumer Electronic - Smart Home Products

Brookwood Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and driven National Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for expanding both new and existing retail distribution channels in the consumer electronics market.

The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of the CE retail market, as well as a proven ability to drive significant growth in the field. You should have a history of successful retail partnerships with major outlets such as Argos, Currys, John Lewis Partnership, and DIY retailers like Screwfix and Toolstation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop product and promotional strategies for each account in alignment with internal goals and KPIs.
  • Establish effective contacts within customer organizations, including commercial, buying, supply chain, store support, and operations teams.
  • Negotiate pricing, product range, and promotional discussions for each account, securing internal approvals to meet Net Sales and Operational Profit targets.
  • Ensure weekly updates of forecasts, sales data, and budget management, while monitoring account performance.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records, reporting to the Sales Leader and other departments.
  • Work closely with internal teams such as Marketing, Product Management, Sales Administration, Customer Service, Logistics, Credit Control, and Finance.
  • Gather market insights, including data on industry trends, product standards, and competitor analysis.
  • Regular travel to meet clients and attend industry trade shows as required.

Estimated salary £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
