Nurse Care Leader

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Manager to join our team at Beaumont Care Homes. As a Registered Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for leading the care team to deliver excellent standards of care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and Oversee High-Quality Care: Continuously assess our residents' needs and wishes, developing the service to enhance their quality of life.
- Champion Independence and Personal Choice: Develop, review, and update care plans to meet our residents' changing physical, social, and psychological needs.
- Medicine Management: Oversee all aspects of medicine management on your shift, ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored, and administered to our residents.
- Build Business Relationships: Communicate warmly and professionally with all visitors, including family, friends, and other external stakeholders.
- Ensure Positive Resident Experience: Ensure all elements of resident experience are positive, from admission to discharge.
- Participate in Inspection Visits: Participate knowledgably and professionally in all inspection visits from RQIA, Trusts, and CCGs.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and best practice guidelines, proactively managing risks and identifying and reporting issues appropriately.
- Monitor and Record: Ensure a rigorous monitoring and recording practice, documenting efficiently and thoroughly all matters relating to our residents and employees.
- Team Approach: Promote a cohesive team approach, working collaboratively to deliver the highest quality care to our residents and ensuring staff are well-supported.
- Atmosphere and Culture: Promote an atmosphere in which all staff members feel a connection to our residents, their host home, their portfolio, their division, and the larger organisation.
- Support and Development: Understand the key targets for your host home and support the Home Manager in achieving these.
- Nursing Care: Promote and practice high standards of nursing care, ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and the shift runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Participate in Meetings: Attend relevant meetings, both internal and external, and attend regular team meetings and monthly appraisals with your line manager.
- Continual Professional Development: Act as a reflective and developmental practitioner, demonstrating participation in continual professional development and meeting the requirements of professional revalidation.
