The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team in Dewsbury. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for consolidating, analyzing, and reporting the financials of our businesses in the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Provide and interpret financial information to support business decision-making.
  • Internal Control and Risk Management: Develop and maintain internal control mechanisms to minimize financial risk.
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting: Manage and coordinate monthly reporting, budgeting, and forecast processes.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage purchase ledger and credit control.
  • Sales and Revenue Management: Review and approve sales in accordance with company policies.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and ensure timely payments.
  • Tax Compliance: Responsible for Tax reporting and the annual audit.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure the business meets all its statutory and compliance obligations, including statutory accounting and tax issues.
  • Cost Optimization: Identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities.
  • External Relationships: Develop relationships with external contacts such as auditors, solicitors, banks, and HM Revenue & Customs.
  • Performance Metrics: Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Team Leadership: Supervise staff and assist the Group Financial Controller with other ad-hoc tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: Qualified ACCA/CIMA or ACA.
  • Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Navision and Key is desirable.
  • Microsoft Applications: Thorough understanding of Microsoft applications, especially Excel, with knowledge of Pivot tables, Macros, and formulas.
  • Soft Skills: Attention to detail and strong analytical thinking, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong presentation skills, and the ability to work in a complex, demanding environment.
