We are seeking a highly organized and dedicated Materials Controller to join our team at Morson Talent.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering timely warranty returns administration process, coordinating with fleets for ongoing claim management and resolution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Warranty Management:
    • Coordinate warranty returns administration process, ensuring compliance with planning and optimized inventory levels.
    • Develop effective relationships with teams and stakeholders to ensure supply priorities are understood.
    • Continuously develop cross-functional processes to improve responsible activity.
    • Minimize commercial risk by delivering returns and rejections directly with suppliers.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Ensure order book and prioritization for replenishment and repairable parts delivery, in compliance with planning and optimized inventory levels.
    • Implement and comply with Siemens Rail Systems HSQE policies.
    • Communicate health and safety responsibilities to team members.
  • Materials Planning:
    • Coordinate materials planning and forecasting between fleets and inventory specialists to achieve optimized inventory levels.
    • Build strong relationships with customers for future business opportunities.
  • Financial Management:
    • Optimize materials to support fleet operations.
    • Participate in 3is improvement programme and drive implementation of improvements.
  • Continuous Improvement/Quality:
    • Ensure awareness and understanding of Siemens compliance policies.
    Requirements
    • Experienced in stock control and inventory management.
    • Detailed knowledge of materials, stores management procedures, and warranty processes.
    • Good knowledge of IT systems/software.
    • Excellent organizational skills.
    Estimated Salary

£82 per hour (approximately £173,000 per annum).
