Materials Control Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Materials Control Specialist to oversee and manage the marshalling and installation of components in the final assembly of aircraft landing gear systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. PART IDENTITY AND ORGANISATION: Identify and categorize each part required for assembly, ensuring all components are in optimal condition and ready for assembly.
  2. INVENTORY MANAGEMENT: Liaise with Material planning and procurement to manage shortages, minimizing assembly delays.
  3. Installation of parts to Production schedule (Electronic SAP).
  4. Proficiency in Technical Software (SAP) is desirable.
  5. Ensure quality control and attention to detail.

Requirements:

  1. GCSE A-C Grades in Maths and English.
  2. Able to use IT software including Excel and Word packages.
  3. Mandatory Training will be required.
  4. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
