Mental Health Support Worker

Shift Patterns: 12 hour shifts, Day shifts, Night shifts
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Transport Assistant to join our team. As a Mental Health Transport Assistant, you will be responsible for providing safe and respectful transportation for patients with mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport patients to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other healthcare facilities
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients during transport
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in the vehicle
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive appropriate care
- Follow established protocols for handling emergency situations
Requirements:
- Valid Full UK Manual Driving License
- Enhanced DBS certificate (desirable)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Willingness to undergo training and development programs
