About the Role

Cromwell Hospital is seeking a skilled Anaesthetic Nurse/ODP to join our team in London. As an Anaesthetic Practitioner/ ODP, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to consultants during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Assist in patient positioning and preparation, and ensure accurate specimen labeling and dispatch.
  • Prepare patients for clinical and operative procedures, and provide immediate post-operative care.
  • Take charge of the clinical area in the absence of an advanced practitioner, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Participate in a multidisciplinary team, sharing knowledge and information to promote a cohesive team and achieve team objectives.
  • Help control cross-infection by observing departmental policies on dress, cleaning, and sterilization.
