Job DetailsSenior Anaesthetic Practitioner Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Anaesthetic Practitioner to join our Operating Theatres department at The London Clinic. This is a challenging and rewarding role that offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and to develop your skills and expertise in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as a skilled member of the anaesthetic team, providing the highest standard of patient care across a varied caseload.
  • Devise, implement, and assess individualised care plans for a wide and diverse patient group, promoting best evidence-based practice.
  • Supervise and support members of the anaesthetic team, ensuring that all staff are able to provide the highest standard of care.
  • In the absence of the Charge Nurse/ODP, you will have continuing responsibility for the management of the Anaesthetic department, including the deployment of staff and the use of equipment and resources.

Requirements:

  • RGN/Odp qualified practitioner, with a recognised anaesthetic course qualification.
  • NMC or HCPC registration.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in anaesthetics, with an excellent understanding of the perioperative needs of patients and customers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience of supervising a multi-disciplinary team.
