Clinical Psychologist Lead for Paediatric Pain Service

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the development of psychologically-informed care within an All Wales Paediatric Persistent Pain Service. The successful candidate will provide psychological expertise and consultation to support the establishment and development of a new, evidence-based model of care to meet the needs of children and young people with persistent pain, and their families, across Wales.
The successful applicant will help lead on a phased development plan for an interdisciplinary model of care, working closely with other team members and local multidisciplinary teams for each Health Board. The tertiary service will initially operate clinically across a variety of locations, including community, hospital sites, and virtually, and will involve support of schools, teaching and training, co-design of pathways, tools, and workshops, and active support of communities of practice.
Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
