Job Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Practitioner Psychologist to lead on the development of psychologically-informed care within an All Wales Paediatric Persistent Pain Service. The successful candidate will provide psychological expertise and consultation to support the establishment and development of a new, evidence-based model of care to meet the needs of Children and Young People with Persistent Pain, and their families, across Wales.
The appointee will provide clinically-led expertise and leadership to the multidisciplinary team developing and delivering a persistent pain service that supports children and young people from diverse backgrounds across Wales. This role involves developing training and education; and supporting colleagues beyond the persistent pain service in developing a common understanding of pain management and therapeutic options.
