Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and experienced Practitioner Psychologist to join our team as a Clinical Psychologist - Paediatric Pain Specialist. As part of our Paediatric Persistent Pain Service, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and deliver a new, evidence-based model of care for Children and Young People with Persistent Pain, and their families, across Wales.

As a key member of our team, you will provide clinically-led expertise and leadership to the development of psychologically-informed care. You will also be responsible for providing training and education to colleagues and supporting the development of a common understanding of pain management and therapeutic options.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a new, evidence-based model of care for Children and Young People with Persistent Pain, and their families, across Wales.
  • Provide clinically-led expertise and leadership to the development of psychologically-informed care.
  • Develop training and education for colleagues to improve their understanding of pain management and therapeutic options.
