The District of North Vancouver is a dynamic organization known for its innovative approach to municipal infrastructure and community development. As a Digital Infrastructure Transformation Lead, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our city's digital services.

Reporting to the General Manager, Engineering Public Works, this leadership position oversees the daily operations of multiple sections, including Solid Waste, Fleet, Streets, Traffic Operations, Construction & Survey, Single Family Servicing, and Business Support. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, resource allocation, service planning, monitoring, and reporting.

This role encompasses risk assessment, program planning, and compliance, as well as policy and procedure development. You will also develop infrastructure renewal plans and provide operational input into long-range asset and service management and other corporate initiatives.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Leadership: Proven ability to supervise, train, and manage a large diverse team, fostering teamwork, inclusivity, and excellence.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant by-laws, policies, regulations, industry standards, and guidelines.
  • Problem Solving & Analysis: Excellent analytical, technical, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and conflict resolution skills.

You will have a university degree in engineering, technology, business administration, or a related field from a recognized educational institution, combined with a minimum of 10 years' experience in progressively senior positions, ideally within the public sector. A professional registration and/or license in the field and a valid BC Drivers' Licence are required.

The estimated salary for this position is approximately $155,083.28 per annum, based on the current market rates in the District of North Vancouver area.
