About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Technician to join our team at Autocraft Solutions Group. As a key member of our Group IT Department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for all IT services at our Wellingborough facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and maintenance for all IT services, including Windows Desktop and Office 365
  • Maintain servers and data security, with a focus on Windows Server, SQL Server, Azure, and networking
  • Assist with the maintenance of business systems, company intranet, and IT infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot and fix laptops, mobile devices, and other office hardware
  • Run network and communications cables throughout the facility, requiring physical fitness and agility
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an IT Technician or relevant position
  • Self-starter with excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, and strong communication ability
  • Outstanding organisational and time-management skills, with a deep understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
  • Excellent knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
  • HNC/HND or Degree in Computer Science or relevant field, with certification as an IT Technician an advantage
