Job Title: Head of Manufacturing Quality

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Manufacturing Quality to join our team at Laing O'Rourke's Centre of Excellence for Modern Construction in Steetley, Nottinghamshire. As a key member of our quality management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our precast concrete manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Lead a team of quality inspectors and engineers to ensure the quality of our products and services.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain quality records and reports to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Represent the quality function in various meetings and forums to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in quality management in a manufacturing or construction environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards and regulations, including ISO 9001.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
