Administrative Finance Officer Position

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Finance Officer to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will provide administrative support to our finance team, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Bank Reconciliation and Data Entry
  • Preparation of Financial Reports
  • Fixed Asset Register Management
  • Payroll Support and VAT Returns
  • Assisting with Audits and Ad Hoc Duties
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in finance or accounting (1-2 years desirable)
  • AAT qualification or working towards it
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Strong numerical skills and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication skills and collaboration

This part-time role involves working two days a week during term time, plus additional days during school holidays. As an employee of Bute House, you will be required to undergo child protection screening and an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check before starting work.
