Consultant in Diabetes and Endocrinology

We are seeking to appoint up to two consultants to our department of Diabetes and Endocrinology based solely at the North Devon District Hospital site in Barnstaple, or with cross-site working at the Barnstaple and Exeter site if preferred. Both posts have opportunities for remote working.
About the DepartmentThe department of Diabetes and Endocrinology is fully integrated and works closely together as one team. Consultants deliver face-to-face and remote care from both the Barnstaple and Exeter sites. The department will support newly appointed consultants to develop sub-specialty interests and to pursue research and teaching interests.
About the TrustThe Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust was established in April, bringing together the expertise of both the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust and the Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust. We are a unique organisation with integrated acute and community services across North and mid Devon that shares one advanced electronic notes system (EPIC) with an integrated patient portal.
