Job Title: Specialist Diabetes and Weight Management Dietitian

As a Specialist Diabetes and Weight Management Dietitian at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust, you will be part of a dedicated team providing high-quality care to patients with diabetes and weight management needs.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of diabetes and weight management principles. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide personalized care to patients, developing and implementing effective treatment plans to improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with diabetes and weight management needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated care
  • Deliver education and training to patients and healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to the development of new services and programs to improve patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Experience in diabetes and weight management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
