About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Waste to Fuels Specialist to join our team at Kent PLC. As a key member of our Low Carbon Consulting team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing waste to fuels production plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership for waste to fuels production plant design and implementation
  • Support business development through technical presentations and proposal preparation
  • Manage waste to fuels studies, including screening, feasibility studies, and conceptual definition
  • Lead the integration of 3rd party licensors and specialist vendors into project teams
  • Ensure studies are delivered to the highest standards, within budget and schedule
  • Attend industry conferences and present on waste to fuels topics
  • Manage and direct engineers and specialist consultants
  • Prepare reports and present results to clients
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline, with Chartered Engineer status
  • Extensive experience in waste to fuels studies and front-end design
  • In-depth knowledge of feedstock processing, conversion, upgrading, and fuels production
  • Working knowledge of industry-standard simulation packages
  • Strong understanding of waste to fuels plant design and interface with feedstock supply and fuels offtake
