About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Waste to Fuels Specialist to join our team at Kent PLC. As a key member of our Low Carbon Consulting team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing Waste to Fuels production plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership for our Waste to Fuels contracts, ensuring high-quality designs and timely delivery.
  • Support business development through technical presentations and proposal preparation.
  • Manage Waste to Fuels studies, including screening, feasibility, and conceptual definition.
  • Lead FEED and Detailed Design projects, overseeing 3rd party licensors and specialist vendors.
  • Collaborate with clients and senior management to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Attend industry conferences and events to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies.
  • Manage and direct engineers and specialist consultants to achieve project goals.
  • Prepare reports and present results to clients, taking full technical ownership of work.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline, with Chartered Engineer status.
  • Extensive experience in Waste to Fuels studies, front-end design, and engineering management.
  • In-depth knowledge of feedstock processing, conversion, upgrading, and fuels production.
  • Working knowledge of industry-standard simulation packages.
  • Strong understanding of Waste to Fuels plant design and interface with feedstock supply and fuels offtake.
