Omega Resource Group is seeking an electrically biased maintenance engineer to join their Tamworth site on a double day shift.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience repairing and maintaining injection moulding machinery, with a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Attending breakdowns, identifying faults, and problem-solving at the press with minimal downtime to aid production.
  • Ensuring all work is undertaken to a high-quality standard and adheres to all quality standard regulations.
  • Performing preventative and reactive maintenance.
  • Ensuring risk assessments are available, read, and understood for each activity undertaken.
  • Undertaking continuous training and development.
  • Performing root cause analysis and resolving problems.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Apprentice trained up to NVQ L3, HNC, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics or similar.
  • 17th/18th Edition Electrical Regulations.
  • MEWP and forklift licenses desirable, but training can be provided.
