Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Tamworth, Staffordshire. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of machinery, including filling machines, mixing machines, and compressor systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve issues
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth operation of the manufacturing process
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize production
Requirements:
  • Multi-skilled engineer with a 60:40 mechanical or electrical bias
  • Recognised level 3 maintenance-related qualification (City and Guilds, NVQ, HNC/HND, Indentured Apprenticeship)
  • Prior experience as a multi-skilled engineer in a manufacturing environment

We offer a competitive salary of £42,600, double days (Mon – Fri) with an early finish on Friday, and a range of benefits including full company sick pay, 34 days holiday, and training opportunities.

As a company, we operate across 4 continents and have substantial investment plans for the next 12 months to modernise our manufacturing facility. We are a small team of 3 and are looking for a skilled engineer to help support our expansion.
