Deputy Care Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional candidate to join our client, a leading domiciliary care provider, as a Deputy Care Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a senior role and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with individual private care referrals from Care Coordinators
  • Support all staff members within the group, in conjunction with the Registered Manager
  • Ensure quality care provision is always provided and strive for excellence
  • Meet with the Director and Registered Manager on a regular basis and provide reports as required
  • Assist the Registered Manager and In-house trainer with managerial supervision, training, and appraisals
  • Monitor the performance of all care staff and initiate appropriate action when standards fall below an acceptable level
  • Provide ongoing advice and support to senior staff and staff to maintain the progressive development of the team
  • Assist with resolving staff problems and disciplinary matters
  • Ensure budgetary control is maintained, maximizing income and monitoring expenditure
Requirements:

NVQ in Health and Social Care Level 3 is mandatory, with Level 5 being an advantage
