Overview

We are seeking an experienced Civils Sub-Agent to join our team, working on key infrastructure schemes in West Yorkshire. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a leading international civil engineering contractor, contributing to the delivery of major projects across Leeds, Wakefield, and Bradford.

Job Description
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding health, safety, and environmental matters.
  • Contribute to site documentation and develop RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statement) specific to each project.
  • Coordinate sub-contractors to guarantee seamless project execution.
  • Brief workforce on key aspects and requirements.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to produce financial forecasts and final cost/value reviews.
  • Lead teams of Engineers, including Graduate, Site, and Section Engineers, ensuring effective management and growth.
  • Report directly to and work closely with Site Agents and Project Managers.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Experience in similar positions, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
  • Familiarity with commercial aspects of project management.
