Category Marketing Director

Perrigo Company is committed to delivering high-quality, affordable self-care products that consumers trust worldwide. We're seeking an experienced Global Category Lead to drive one of our key strategic global portfolios in one of our European Head Offices.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a portfolio of categories by influencing, collaborating, and coordinating a cross-functional team and senior stakeholder management.
- Develop a comprehensive 5-year category strategy across the portfolio, defining a clear growth roadmap with a consumer-first approach.
- Set category growth objectives (short and long term) to identify key levers of acceleration.
- Define, plan, execute, and evaluate the success of the innovation pipeline, including concept development, research and development, go-to-market strategy, and success metrics.
- Drive best-in-class activation and execution toolkits, leveraging consumer insights and touchpoints in partnership with top-tier countries.
- Partner with top-tier countries across Europe to drive growth and innovation.
- Coach and develop a high-performing team to grow talent within the organization.
- Take ownership of the portfolio's P&L, including country tracking and A&P management, driving optimizations and anticipating risks.
- Stay ahead of consumer trends, competition, and new regulations, ensuring they align with our growth strategy roadmap.
- Report, track, learn, and suggest improvements by analyzing the impact of marketing actions on sales.
- Leadership skills with a proven track record as a strategic thinker and executor.
- Team development and performance management expertise.
- Stakeholder management skills to influence peers, leadership, executives, and local teams.
- A proven record of generating growth through creative thinking, NPD management, and 4Ps excellence.
- A strong drive for results, a can-do attitude, and performance tracking.
- Analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel (20-30% of the time).
- Fluency in English.
- Experience analyzing market data (IQVIA, Nielsen, IRI, etc.) and financials (P&L ownership).
- At least 10 years of experience in marketing, preferably in healthcare, OTC, or FMCG.
