Freelance Interpreter Required for Public and Private Sector Assignments

We are recruiting freelance interpreters to work with various public and private sector organizations across the UK. As an interpreter with Language Empire, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other organizations.

Our interpreters provide professional interpreting and translation services to the public and private sectors. We have been offering our services in the UK for over 20 years, covering hundreds of languages and dialects.

As a freelancer with Language Empire, you will have the flexibility to choose your own schedule and work from the comfort of your own home. You will also have access to ongoing support and continuous professional development opportunities.

We are currently recruiting for face-to-face, telephone, and video interpreters, as well as translators. If you are fluent in English and another language, and have the right to work in the UK, we encourage you to apply.

Our interpreters work with highly confidential information and must be able to liaise between service users and providers. You will also be required to check the non-English speaker's understanding after each sentence and deal with complex information.

Requirements include a diploma in public service interpreting, community interpreting, or a degree in translation/interpreting/languages. CIOL, ITI registration is also advantageous.
