We are seeking a passionate SEN/SEND teacher to join our team, working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs in Suffolk.
About the Role
This part-time position offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our students, providing Maths, English, or Science tuition in a creative, flexible, and trauma-informed manner.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring to students with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs
- Collaborate with our SEN/SEND Support Team to ensure comprehensive support for each student
- Plan and implement engaging and effective learning sessions that meet the needs of each student
What We're Looking For
- Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience
- Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs
- Enhanced DBS and two professional references
- You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK
Working Arrangements
You will have the flexibility to work on a part-time basis, with occasional opportunities to take on remote jobs and online teaching assignments. You will also have access to extensive CPD and upskilling opportunities, including the full Tes CPD suite.
